Dr. Sally G. Parish is the President and Lead Facilitator for Parish Strategies. Sally is a first-generation college graduate and has worked in the corporate and educational sectors for her entire career. Her experience ranges from corporate training and development, to student-facing functions of higher education (leadership programs, service learning, fraternity and sorority life, student activities, student government, first year programs, retention efforts, etc), and most recently the Pre-K through 12 educational compendium.Â
Her professional experience includes supporting the opening and launch of four restaurants, founding nationally recognized departments and award-winning programs at a variety of higher education institutions, launching two academic programs with an emphasis on leadership and community development, and founding three schools that will serve over 1000 students each year. Sally has been published on a variety of leadership-related topics, has served on a number of local and national boards, has taught at the collegiate level for over 15 years, and has been invited to speak, facilitate, and consult at a number of public and private schools, corporations, and non-profit organizations across the country. Recent engagements include: New Memphis Institute Leadership Symposium, University of Louisiana, Pinnacle Financial Partners, University of Memphis Athletics, and the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships.
